P1&2 was spent sharing opinions and questioning each other's cultures and lifestyles. No topic was off limits- arranged marriages, politics, sex education, tribes, languages, and much more.
On Monday 18th July, all the Culcheth and Matseliso students came together to have a "Big Conversation". During this, we asked each other questions to learn new things in different cultures. This activity was helpful because we were given a chance to find out new things and what happens back where they live. The best part was when some students gave short speeches to teach other students lessons to remember for life. The good part about this was that it taught us how to be more confident and be ourselves. Also, the conversations were very mature and enjoyable to listen to. It was emotional when we closed and finished the activity; however, it really helped everyone see the greater side of the trip. To conclude, the activity was very enjoyable and it is something that the teachers should plan to do again!
