On the evening there were three small local businesses, there was one lady who sold candles, another who sold clothes, and the final woman was selling cosmetics, My mum knew each of them through charity events she had been to and, their stands were perfect for the evening, each stand gave me a percentage of how much they made and off them I got £65.
My grandma was on another stall and she knits hedgehogs and sells them, before the event she had already sold 5 which gave her £50 then she sold another 5 on the evening therefore she raised a total of £100, she is the best grandma ever, as she gave it all for my fundraising for Culcheth-2-Soweto.
On the evening, the entry fee was a bottle of wine or what ever drink they liked and it was sold back to them for 50p a glass, also my mum was baking all day and made tons of amazing cakes which were sold for £1 a slice/cake, we had boxes so people could take them home too, for their families. From the food and drink a total around £160 was made. The final part of the evening was the raffle which raised £80.
I really enjoyed the evening around 40 family and friends came and I was so thankful for them coming and being so generous by helping me raise the amount of money I did which in total was about £410, and my mum for putting the whole thing together with me.
